Prairie Home Companion Celebrates Another Anniversary

  Today in 1974 the very first broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion was heard from the Janet Wallace Auditorium at Macalester College in Saint Paul. Keillor to retire in 2013

A Prairie Home Companion host Garrison Keillor has told the AARP Bulletin that he plans to retire in the spring of 2013, once he has found a host to replace him. Those are some big red tennis shoes for someone to fill!
